FAA updates rules on in-flight gadget usage

Consumers just received clearance to use their mobile gadgets on most of their flights. According to NBC News, the Federal Aviation Administration recently relaxed its standards and will now allow airline passengers to use their tablets, handheld video game consoles, e-readers and DVD players during the entire time they're on planes. Phone calls and text messages are still prohibited though customers can go online after reaching 10,000 feet. For many air travelers, this announcement
